Alok has worked as an independent consultant, prior to joining MVA. Before then, he worked for Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation, Hong Kong for more than 10 years. In various capacities, he has worked in the areas of railway project planning and management, revenue management, financial appraisals, market research and strategic planning.

Alok played an active role in a number of business organizations and worked in many countries in a career spanning over 20 years. He was also an Assistant Professor (part-time) in the Urban Planning Department at University of Hong Kong, and serves as a Member in Transport Policy Committee and Marketing & Promotions Committee of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong.

Terry is a transportation engineer, planner and traffic engineer with over 40 years experience in the transport sector in the UK and overseas. His overseas experience includes some 25 years in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, China, Singapore, India, Iraq and Jordan.

Terry's wide ranging experience covers all aspects of urban and regional transport, including transport policy formulation and implementation. This has included demand management, transport investment appraisal; road expenditure planning and programmes; rail (including LRT and High Speed rail) and bus planning and operations including bus lanes, busways, station integration; transport modelling and environmental evaluation. He has extensive experience in transport planning, traffic management, engineering; development of parking plans.

Dr Tagore, a doctorate from IIT Bombay, has over 20 years of experience (including research) in the field of traffic & transportation engineering. He is an experienced Project Manager and has been a key Team Member for a wide range of highways, public transport and planning studies in public and private sectors. His expertise include planning, transport demand modelling, patronage estimates for Metro/ Light Rail Transit projects, Economic Appraisal of Transport Infrastructure Projects, Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) Studies, Market Research Studies, etc.

Dr Tagore has worked on some of the most prestigious projects in Mumbai and was also involved in the Pune MRTS, Delhi Airport Express Line, Metro Rail Feasibility Study for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Road Network & Traffic Movement Study for the city of Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. He also has strong working knowledge of TRIPS/ CUBE Voyager Software.
